History of Bluestone Recruitment
From humble beginnings as a small provider of staff to the laundry industry, Bluestone Recruitment has changed significantly to become the business it is today.
One thing that hasn't changed is its commitment to clients and candidates to provide the best recruitment service possible.
1999: Selective Solutions forms as a provider of staff to the laundry industry in Sydney with three employees.
2003: Bluestone Personnel opens in Sunshine, Victoria.
2005: Bluestone expands into Brisbane market.
2006: Campbelltown becomes the first NSW office for Bluestone Personnel.
2002-2009: Selective Solutions implements a significant phase of acquisition to expand the business to include 14 existing companies.
2007: With over 200 staff in Sydney and Melbourne and an established name within the laundry and dry-cleaning industries a holding company Total Recruitment Group was created to manage all of the companies within the group.
This physical expansion was also reflected in the breadth of industries now serviced: IT, executive & office, sales & marketing, financial services, healthcare, government, hospitality, industrial & trades, manufacturing, warehousing, engineering (civil and rail) and mining sectors.
2009: Humanis Group Ltd acquires Westaff and then TSS, creating TSS Westaff.
2010: ResCo Services is acquired by Humanis Group expanding the capabilities of the group into the Mining sector.
2011: The Total Recruitment Group (TRG) is acquired by Humanis Group Ltd. This acquisition brought both TRG and Bluestone under the Humanis umbrella to be positioned as one of Australia's largest recruitment companies.
Humanis Group now operated under eleven different brands: TSS Westaff, ResCo Services, Ultimate Skills, Bell Recruitment, Bluestone Recruitment, Clements Recruitment, Clexan-Peak Personnel, Online Personnel and OnlineRail.
The strategic benefits of this acquisition offered both clients and candidates huge opportunities. With twenty office locations throughout Australia and New Zealand, Total Recruitment Group offered a greater geographical reach, which saw the Group providing the best candidates possible to clients and expanding its networks. The broader scope of services also brought more job opportunities to candidates.
2012: Humanis Group acquires insurance and financial services specialists DLA Consulting Group and geological experts Gnomic Exploration Services.
In 2012, Humanis Group decided to combine nine brands under one name. Bluestone was chosen as the brand to unify under, as it offered limitless engagement and recognition opportunities for the businesses key stakeholders.
On 16 July 2012, the Bluestone team officially came together as one unified team with a common goal, to change lives for good by genuinely believing in the potential of every individual and opportunity.
We move forward with re-energised optimism and the determination to strive for the better good of our people, clients and candidates every day.
